Wotan – Presence and outstanding movement quality
Wotan impresses not only with his impressive upright posture in the forehand, but also with his harmonious and balanced physique. His expressive head, clear, alert eyes and excellent mobility in the neck give him a noble appearance. His long neck and withers that extend far back round off his magnificent appearance. Particularly noteworthy are his sloping shoulders with their right-angled upper arms, which give him generous shoulder freedom. This supports the mobility of his forelimbs and contributes significantly to the ease of his movements. In all three basic gaits – walk, trot and canter – Wotan always displays perfect rhythm and above-average reach, giving each gait a clear structure and dynamic expressiveness.
