World Haflinger Federation

The World Haflinger Federation lays down the breeding guidelines with international breeding objectives

Duties
  • The WHF lays down the rules for proficiency examinations as part of the Haflinger aptitude test.
  • The WHF is the only authentic international umbrella organization for the Haflinger breed. It was founded in 1975. Today, the World Haflinger Federation has 22 member organizations in 18 different nations and on 4 continents.
  • The WHF's breeding programme adheres to pure breeding and approves a modern leisure horse.
  • The WHF is also the organization which authorizes European and World Shows and an international list of adjudicators.
  • The WHF undertakes the training of international adjudicators and annually compiles a new list of such Haflinger experts.
