Wotan’s impressive qualities lie not only in the excellent straightness in the front quarters but also in the harmoniously matching body structure. The head has clear eyes and sufficient flexibility in the nape; the neck is long, and the withers reaches far into the back. His sloping shoulder with a right-angled upper arm gives him plenty of shoulder room in front limb movement. The movement sequences in the three basic gaits of walk, trot and canter are regular, i.e. always rhythmically consistent, and have sufficient ground coverage – a charming young stallion from the W line.
